About Black Beauty Brands
In early 2025, Target rolled back its diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments, ending the REACH (Racial Equity Action and Change) initiative that had helped bring Black-owned beauty brands to its shelves. The resulting consumer boycott and sales declines led to reduced distribution for many of these brands.
Black Beauty Brands exists to make sure these products stay easy to find. We organize products from Black-owned beauty brands in one place, with price comparison across multiple retailers so you can find the best deal.
How It Works
We track prices across retailers like Amazon, Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Walmart, and brand websites. Prices are updated daily so you always see current information. When you click a "Shop" link, you're taken directly to the retailer's product page.
Affiliate Disclosure
This site contains affiliate links. When you purchase a product through one of our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the site running and continue supporting these brands. We never let affiliate relationships influence which products or retailers we feature.
Missing a Brand?
We're always looking to add more Black-owned beauty brands to the site. If you know of a brand that should be listed here, we'd love to hear from you.
